Flippin' books...

Every Inchie Monday #16 : Poetry
Ugh... Tough one!!
A tiny little poem... And here it is in my journal...

 Snail Mail Flip Book
This is my second snail mail flip book. It's also my new addiction...
The 'hello' was sent to as goodie in a pocket letter along with a ton of other die cuts. I am really loving them. They are all white, so I watercolored it in a matching color.
This one got a little (a lot) bulky so I had to tie a ribbon around it to keep it fairly closed.

On the first page I made a little pocket for some journaling cards. There is a tiny card in the tiny envelope...
My letter is clipped to the back of the flower card which flips upwards...
Under it is a little bag of butterflies die cut pieces and under that is a piece of acetate with some stickers from fruit which my partner in this swap collects...

Inside the flip book...
I attached some cardstock to the back of the bicycle card to make a pocket for some washi samples.
The tag flips up....
And behind it you find a little envie with stickers...
When I glued two pieces of cardstock together for this page I made a pocket for some journaling tags...
Last page... The polka dot bag holes some diy paper bows...
My swap partner also collects coins so I found a Danish one a taped it in the corner...
Into the envie and off to Canada!

Something fishy...

Every Inchie Monday #15: Fish

Here we have it in my journal it is very own frame...
Actually doodling frames is a favorite too!

Snail mail love...

Every Inchie Monday #14: Grandmother
I feel a bit like I cheated with this one as I dug out a picture of my mum (turns out I take way to few pictures of my mum!), grandma of my daughter who's back you also see...
Ah well, I had a great time looking a pics!

Flip Book
I came across a tutorial video on youtube and fell in love...
I watched a ton of videoes of flip books in all shapes and sizes. And just when I decided I had to put down the ipad and pick up some paper... There was a flip book swap on swap-bot!

So here's my very first flip book...
The front is very simple because the paper was so adorable...
It ended up being quite bulky so a little ribbon with a bow keep it closed.
Open up to a cup of tea and, since it was easter time, some bunny buttons!
I made the envelopes, there's 3 for her to use.
Not done yet!
Jumping into the deep end with my first one... 4 pages!
The envie holds a letter. The pink journal card flips up, as does the tag behind. I hid some goodies in there...
Notice something sticking out on the top? I made a pocket when gluing two papers together and put some tags in it.
Flip to the other side and find a half page that flips up and reveals more goodies. For the last page I made a pocket to hold journal cards and sticky notes.
Into an envie and off to the United Kingdom...

This was so much fun to make and I have finished my second today, that one goes to Canada...
Let's make another!

Peanuts!

It's funny, in Danish the Peanuts are named Radishes. Wonder who came up with that translation...

Blue Pocket Letter...
My swapbot partner for this swap liked pink/orange color combo as well as the color blue so I tried to incorporate that.
The backing is a project life card I cut down in size to fit the pocket. The page strip is from an old Danish book I found in a thrift shop. The lovely stamp was sent to me from a swap partner in Malta.
My partner also likes dolphins and these are just the cutest!
I love making these little pocket letter charms!

Happy Easter!

Knock, knock...

Last year we had 'window' and I made one that opened up, that was fun, so I did the same with this door...
Let's take a peek...
Boh!
Haha!

Butterfly Pocket Letter...

I adore butterflies!
So I set up a pocket letter swap on swap-bot.com themed butterflies...

I got a new stamp. Perfect for the pocket holding the letter!
The decorations in this pocket was goodies in previously received pocket letters.

Using the WRMK fuse tool I made a matching pocket letter charm...

Gorjuss pocket letter...

I made this pocket letter for a swap on pocketletterpals.com our theme
was senders choice, which is so nice some times to just go with the wind...
The little cutiepie in the middle pocket was my starting point, I just love those gorjuss girls!
I am in love with this color combo!
The little heart for the love quote pocket I crocheted.
For the 'open your heart' pocket I took apart a necklace, the colors on that heart is so pretty.
I made a little tag and used some chain from the necklace to attach it along with a tassel and leaf also from that same necklace.
That beautiful bird was a goodie in a pocket letter I received in another swap. Love it!
The kite was also a received goodie. The lightpost stamp is new, so cute!
More pretty gorjuss girls!
The little tea cup girl was perfect for a pocket with a tea bag!

And finally the envelope...

Pocket Letter Charms...

Itty bitty tiny pocket letters...

Aren't they just adorable?
I treated myself to the fuse tool from We R Memory Keepers, these pretties are one of the things I can make with it.
One is tied to a pocket letter (that has not been received yet so hush! It's secret...) and I made another, just because it was fun, fun, fun...

Now hush again... Because this is also a charm for a pocket letter that hasn't been received yet... Secret, ok?!
Tiny = cute... I love it!
Next I will make some that are pocket sized...

Washi, washi, washi!

Every Inchie Monday #9: Towel

Washi Sample Swap...
 I love washi tape!
So these swaps of samples are some of my favorite swaps!
For this one we swapped 25 samples of 12 inches. I made this little washi sample book for my partner...

It opens by lifting the washi strip on the side...
And reveals two playing cards wrapped with clear tape, then wonderful colorful washi tape!
It opens again on both sides for a total of 6 playing cards.

I got the idea from a washi book that was sent to me in another swap from a partner in Japan. I just loved it so much I had to make some myself!

Another washi book...

And one more... Yes, I'm going crazy with the washi books!
I like this one the best...
This was a rainbow colored washi sample swap on swapbot...

After these little washi booklets I have discovered something called flipbooks. Little booklets like these but with little pockets filled with goodies and fully decorated.
That's my next project! Fun, fun, fun...
(That is if I can stop watching youtube videos and actually get started!!)

Valentines...

I didn't feel like drawing the planet earth...
I was more in the mood for some doodling, so this is what I got...

Valentines Pocket Letter...
We don't celebrate Valentines Day in Denmark so this is the first time I have made anything Valentines themed!
This pocket letter was for my pocket letter pal Aparna in India.

Here was the chance to use my tiny cupid stamp!
The middle pocket is a printed image that I went over with some glitter gelly roll. It was actually my starting point and what I chose the colors from...
