A week in color...

I really enjoy drawing white on black so this challenge was right up my alley...

joey's weekly tangle challenge #61: Tangle a flower shaped string
Zendala Dare #3

Inside my sketchbook
My son sat down next to me while I was tangling and asked if he could make a tiny drawing too!
He only wanted to color in though so I drew him a string and this is as far as he got before something else caught his attention...

Watching him I just got an urge to color in, it's so relaxing. So I made one for myself too...

This weeks inchie I made on a piece of an actual envelope...

For the love of zendalas...

I've really been missing Erin's Zendala Dare...
It's a month now since the last one...
So I decided to just go ahead and start at the beginning! That leaves me with lots and lots of zendala templates as I only just got started doing them at #95...

Here's my take on the very first Zendala Dare...

Arukas, knight's bridge, inaura, tipple, fescu, zescen, ovolution

Inside my journal...
These are my journal pages from week 16..

Under the zentangle tiles is notes about a book I read that week, a movie and a new tv-show I started watching...
On this page I wrote a little about what we did this week...
Under the picture of my Sofie's Universe is a picture of a birthday card I made for my nephew and under that I wrote about his birthday party and his present...

My favorite challenge of the very many available has to be this little one!

If you, like me, cannot get enough of the inchies, you should check out the twinchie challenge too!

Scratch that...

"This week's challenge is to try using tools or materials you've never used before for tangling."

How perfect that I today received a package from Amazon containing black tiles and some scratch tiles too...

The scratch tiles I saw someone use on a blog, do not remember who or where, but I really wanted to try this. Also it was something I knew would drag the kids away from their ipads and do something creative for a while...

Black tiles I haven't tried tangling before. Only some scraps of black paper last week when I bought some white gelly rolls.

So my submission for this weeks diva challenge is these two...

Wavy border, Locar, Maryhill, Poke-leaf, Tipple

Inaura, Inapod, Poke-leaf, Eke
Drawing white on black was very enjoyable. Luckily the pack I bought contains 75 tiles, so I'll be playing more with that.

The scratch tile was really fun to do. I remember loving thise as a child.
For the next one I'll dig out a knitting needle and see if the lines can be cleaner with that. The nib on the little stick that came with the pack is rather thick and makes very uneven lines when drawing round...

My daugther did some flowers and hearts on hers. My son scratched his name and then proceeded to scratch off all of the black... That's my boy, so thorough...

Getting kozy with inaura...

It got way too late last night, so I skipped posting yesterdays work... I know myself well enough to
know I can't just do the post and then go to bed...
I always just have to take tiny peek at what everyone else have posted... And just one pin... Or just two... And then I blink and it's been an hour...
Am I the only one with this problem??

So here goes... Yesterday I did a tile for...

Tangles: Kozy, Inaura

I am completely in love with both these tangles. Inaura is so great to draw and I love the layering.
Kozy is so beautiful! It can be a delicate flower or angel wings or a sea shell... Love it!
I spent a lot of time playing around with both the tangles.

And today...

Tangles: Inapod, Mooka and a whole lot of lines...

I had some difficulties with this template.
Finished one but had put way too much in it. So I trashed it, started over with some minor changes and left some white space.
Now I'm really happy with it.

Note, that Erin over at The Bright Owl who is offering this amazing challenge is having a giveaway, actually it's a double giveaway, this week! So if you're in the US, make sure you pop by...
