Peanuts!

It's funny, in Danish the Peanuts are named Radishes. Wonder who came up with that translation...

Blue Pocket Letter...
My swapbot partner for this swap liked pink/orange color combo as well as the color blue so I tried to incorporate that.
The backing is a project life card I cut down in size to fit the pocket. The page strip is from an old Danish book I found in a thrift shop. The lovely stamp was sent to me from a swap partner in Malta.
My partner also likes dolphins and these are just the cutest!
I love making these little pocket letter charms!

Happy Easter!

Knock, knock...

Last year we had 'window' and I made one that opened up, that was fun, so I did the same with this door...
Let's take a peek...
Boh!
Haha!

Butterfly Pocket Letter...

I adore butterflies!
So I set up a pocket letter swap on swap-bot.com themed butterflies...

I got a new stamp. Perfect for the pocket holding the letter!
The decorations in this pocket was goodies in previously received pocket letters.

Using the WRMK fuse tool I made a matching pocket letter charm...

Washi, washi, washi!

Every Inchie Monday #9: Towel

Washi Sample Swap...
 I love washi tape!
So these swaps of samples are some of my favorite swaps!
For this one we swapped 25 samples of 12 inches. I made this little washi sample book for my partner...

It opens by lifting the washi strip on the side...
And reveals two playing cards wrapped with clear tape, then wonderful colorful washi tape!
It opens again on both sides for a total of 6 playing cards.

I got the idea from a washi book that was sent to me in another swap from a partner in Japan. I just loved it so much I had to make some myself!

Another washi book...

And one more... Yes, I'm going crazy with the washi books!
I like this one the best...
This was a rainbow colored washi sample swap on swapbot...

After these little washi booklets I have discovered something called flipbooks. Little booklets like these but with little pockets filled with goodies and fully decorated.
That's my next project! Fun, fun, fun...
(That is if I can stop watching youtube videos and actually get started!!)

Valentines...

I didn't feel like drawing the planet earth...
I was more in the mood for some doodling, so this is what I got...

Valentines Pocket Letter...
We don't celebrate Valentines Day in Denmark so this is the first time I have made anything Valentines themed!
This pocket letter was for my pocket letter pal Aparna in India.

Here was the chance to use my tiny cupid stamp!
The middle pocket is a printed image that I went over with some glitter gelly roll. It was actually my starting point and what I chose the colors from...

Slip into an inch...

I knew right away how I wanted to do this one. Finally an easy one!! lol!

I drew the slippers on polka dotted cardstock and glued on yarn for the part of the slipper that I do not know the English word for. Actually I don't know the Danish word for it either...
Is there a name for that part of a slipper?

A little rhinestone slipped (!) in there.
After our very manly theme last week, we need some sparkle! ;)

Now could I please have me some slippers-weather!

Pocket Letter of Bs...
This was for a swapbot swap and went all the way to Africa!
Everything in this pocket letter was to begin with B.
Letter in Danish is 'brev'. Perfect for my first pocket. Then Bird, Bronze, Bow, Birdcage, Brads, Butterfly, Big and Buttons.
All except one pocket are cut down journaling cards. They are so pretty!

Bulldozer!

So I had to ask my son what exactly a bulldozer look like...
Big wheels and a big shovel...
This turned out a lot better than expected! I'm more of a cute cats and flower drawing kinda girl... ;)

Letter as a Pocket Letter...
The idea for this swap was to use your actual letter as a pocket letter...
I decided to make 9 little examples of how I might decorate a letter for my pocket letters...
Of course I forgot to take a picture of it after writing on these 9 little pieces of stationary...
It went straight into the envie...
... and off on it's way around the world...
This was a really fun idea for a letter swap!

For the love of a sofa...

So last week I forgot to submit my inchie... But at least I didn't forget to make it! lol!
This week we have one of my favorite things! Sofa! I love mine!

Actually we're getting a new one this month.
Which is kind of sad... Since we have these wonderful huge soft floaters... But they are 15 years old and have seen 10 years of sticky fingers (and paws) and jumping kids (jumping cat too!) lets just say these sofas have seen better days...
I am treasuring every last minute with my favorite sofa EVER! ;)

Positive Quotes Pocket Letter for Vivi in Malta

This was a swap on pocketletterpals.com which paired me up with another Dane although she is living in sunny Malta!
I had just bought a pad of quote stickers and then this swap comes along... Meant to be...
The paper is new too. I totally love these wonderful colors!
All wrapped up and ready to go!

Pink pocket letter for Esther in the Netherlands
This was for a private swap on swap-bot.com.
For the first pocket I google translated 'hi' and 'letter'.
I completely fell in love with some beautiful stamps that were on a letter I received from Finland!

Yet another swap...
This one for washi samples... I love washi!

Washi love...

My very first inchie of 2016!
For this one I decided to go black... Then stippled a galaxy of white gelly roll with a touch of purple and glitter.

After seeing the awesome 2015 inchie displays my fellow inchie... inchiers... inchiees... (There's tanglers doing zentangle, so are we inchiers??) (Or do I just really need to go to bed... ;)
Those amazing displays made me want to make one of my own.
But last year (it seems like it was just last week...) I put all my inchies on little tags and used them in my journal, so I couldn't make a display.

I'm not sure what I am doing this year, so for now I'll just save them in an envie...

I have been making some pocket letters lately, but my swap partners have not received them yet, so that's for another time...

Swapping
This was for a washi tape swap I did a while back.
I have a serious addiction for washi tapes and I love these swaps!

I had 3 partners for this washi swap.
That means 3 letters with wonderful washi for me! Awesome!
A letter is not mandatory in these swaps. Just a note. But I really like writing letters, so I pretty much always write one for the swaps I take part in. And of course in a washi swap one should always pretty up everything with even more washi!

I hope you all entered the new year safe and sound...

Inchies and twinchies...

Catching up on my inchies!
Also catching up with....

I had fallen behind and missed the deadline on this challenge, but here we go...
Last week's prompt was grass and I decided to go the doodle way.
For China I decided on a little teacup.

Inside my journal

Wrapping paper from one of my birthday gifts turned into backing paper...
Layered tiles with room for writing notes about the week.
Pocket Letters are taking up my crafting time lately so the tangling is at a minimum... This is 3 weeks combined!
The zentangle tile is made on a tile that was sent to me in a zentangle swap. She drew a sting on it.
Great idea, I love it!
Tea cup and cat ATC made for swaps, but I made an extra for keeps!

It's not all that bad to combine some weeks. My journal is really getting fat! So every combined page means I can tear out a page and slim it down a little.
Next year I will probably make 2 journals so I can tear out half the pages and maybe it will get less bulky...

Swap book
What to do with the stuff I receive in swaps?
I saw on a swab-bot profile, can't remember who's, a book made out of incoming swaps. She only showed the cover, so I don't know how she did it.
But this is how I am doing it...
My very first swap! The tanned ATC is my outgoing. Below is my incoming.
The card can be opened and lifted to show the envelope below.

I really do not have the heart to just trow out pretty envelopes!
They make for a perfect background. Here I also added a picture of the envelope I sent out and a picture of the items I received as they were too many and too large to fit.

Washi sample swap so I added a little piece of the lovely washis I was sent.
Beautiful card and envie!
See how pretty my swap partner doodled the envie! and she made me an owl card in my favorite color! I love owls!
And funny, I also made an owl card for my outgoing swap, this time in Canada. I made a purple card as that was my receivers favorite color.

This book will be so fun to look through when it is finished!

Zentangle swap

Swapping a zentangle tile!
I drew a string on a tile and added it for extra.
My swap partner loved celestial images so I drew a sun for the card.

And the envie...
