Rose in a sphere... |
This was a though one!
I'm not ecstatic... If you read yesterdays post, you know that I messed up the Rose pattern and pretty much gave up on the whole thing...
But after sleeping on it... No, I'm not giving up on more than half an hour work!
Grabbed a sharp blade and cut out the square that I messed up! Then taped a little piece of paper on the back of my sphere, voilá (well, that's what we say in Denmark when we think we have been really smart!) Now you can hardly even see it...
It does look round, but the edges looks flat. Maybe it's the black... I studied Margaret Bremner's sphere (which by the way is amazing!) and thought I did what she did, but no...
This was no walk in the park... But I still had fun doing it...
Can't wait to see what Joey thinks up for next week...
Zopfe is a really lovely tangle that I have never used before, so I am very happy to take part in this challenge and fall in love with yet another tangle...
I kept it simple to get well acquainted with Zopfe and only added Beadlines...

The string I did by making a loop on each side of the border...
Now, this tile, I am very happy with!
I think both tiles are very nice.
ReplyDeleteI think your Joey's tile is beautiful and I like the way you used the pink.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great solution and it turned out great!
ReplyDeleteYour Zopfe is very lovely!! I really like the way you have made the Beadlines in contrast to the Zopfe - it really works for me :)
ReplyDeleteYour Joey's challenge is lovely - I especially like the rose color with the roses :)
